Psychological Evaluations

The trained professionals at CPS provide psychological, personality, educational, and vocational evaluations for diagnostic purposes.   Psychological evaluations are very helpful to clarify diagnoses that may assist your doctor in medication management and to provide focus for psychotherapy.  Educational evaluations are used to assist schools and parents in providing recommendations to increase a child’s learning.  Diversion psychological evaluations for court related purposes are available.

Custody Evaluations

Christian Psychological Services now offers a new model for helping families through divorce and the difficult complexities associated with decisions involving children. This new model is a conciliatory approach whereby the custody evaluation process involves assisting the parents in reaching an agreement regarding co-parenting the children. The goals of the program are to help curb tension and distrust, provide the court with meaningful information and recommendations, and to reduce the impact of divorce on the children. The cost for this service is often lower than traditional custody evaluation models.

Mediation

CPS has a Kansas Supreme Court Approved Mediator who provides mediation and dispute resolution services in areas such as the following:

  • Commercial contracts, corporate disputes
  • Marital conflicts between spouses
  • Family disagreements among grandparents, parents and their children
